ORIOLES MAGIC 2014!

I know I don't have to tell you how "O'mazing" this season has been for the Orioles so I will keep this short and sweet. It's geared to the true Baltimore orioles fan… Meaning there are references you may not get otherwise! ;) Enjoy my Orioles 2014 PLAYOFF manicure! Hope you like it!
Let's go O's!!!
❤️, Lindsay

And this last picture is showing the images that inspired each design. :)

A Long Time Ago In a Galaxy Far, Far Away... STAR WARS DAY!

Happy Star Wars Day!!! May the fourth be with you. ;)
Of course, I have another Star Wars manicure for this year's Star Wars day! I had a hard time coming up with something different from last year but I did it...and I really like it!
I decided to incorporate a galaxy manicure with some famous Star Wars ships.
This was my first time trying the galaxy mani and I'M IN LOVE!!!!
It was so easy. Even when you make a "mistake"...it adds to the beauty of the finished product. Once I finished the galaxy design, I hand-painted an X-Wing on my thumb and a TIE Fighter on my ring finger. Those were...not so easy. :P
I hope you enjoy my Star Wars mani as much as I do.

GO RAVENS! Super Bowl 2013 Manicure!

As promised, here is my Ravens Super Bowl manicure! :)
I told my husband and my dad that if the Ravens made it to the Super Bowl that I would do a Ravens manicure! I'm not a football fan but I do love Baltimore.
I decided to do the menacing Raven's eyes on my middle and ring nails with some "explosion" accent nails.
I used Orly Charged Up, Sinful Colors Black On Black, OPI Dazzled By Gold, Essie Laquered Up, Sinful Colors Snow Me White and (of course) Seche Vite as my top coat.

Hope you enjoyed this mani and have a great Super Bowl weekend!
GO RAVENS!

Happy Birthday to ME...and my BLOG!

That's right! My blog turns 1 today! ;)
Oh, and I turn 29. :P Obviously I did my nails for the occasion!
So, here is my birthday manicure. Nothing too crazy. I wanted to go with a chic but sparkly look today so I did a Half Moon manicure using Layla Holographic in Flash Black and a new polish that my husband gave me for Christmas from the new OPI Mariah Carey collection in Anti-Bleak. I love both of these polishes and would highly recommend them. (Mariah Carey Collection is in stores now...go by it!)

I hope you all enjoy my birthday as much as I will! haha

GO O's!!!

Well, Hello there! Two blog posts in one week?! Am I feeling alright?! :P

Today I have a Baltimore ORIOLES manicure to show you! I am not a huge sports fan but the one sport I can understand and enjoy going to watch is baseball...and since I am from Baltimore I like the O's...naturally! They happen to be doing pretty well this season and I know everyone in Baltimore is pretty stoked about it.

Besides the fact that they are doing well, I have a few other reasons to have my nails like this!
Tonight I will be going to the O's game with my dad, sister and my husband. It's a special game because they will be unveiling the statue of Cal Ripken Jr. at Camden Yards. (Today is also the 17th anniversary of Cal Ripken Jr. breaking Lou Gehrig's record for consecutive games played...2131!) Oh, and they're playing the Yankees...bringing my team spirit is a must!!!
On Saturday, my husband's cousin is getting married and the wedding has an Oriole theme (Congrats Jenn and Derek! :D) and I will be going to another Oriole game next Tuesday!

So, I hope you enjoy the design I came up with! It was a tough one! The striped nails are done with tape and the "O" and The Bird are painted by hand...
Yes...I'm crazy. ;)
GO O'S!!!!!!

A Rainbow Dotticure!

For today's post I have a spotty dotty manicure...or a "dotticure"! :P I was feeling really uninspired when it came to my nails this weekend so I decided to try something new. I wanted to go for a rainbow look so I used a few different shades of each color and a dotting tool and this is what I came up with! I thought it was fun and different than my usual mani. I may be trying this in other colors soon! It's SO easy! Look how cheery the rainbow colors are! :)

Thanks for reading! I hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend! :D
